HOW DO I GET AN ESTIMATE?

Calling the shop (971-478-7596) to set up an estimate appointment to bring your car or project in for us to look at in person is the best way to set up an estimate appointment. Seeing your project in person is the best way to get an accurate estimate for you.

If you’re unable to come into the shop, you can email us (shelby@shafferautoupholstery.com) with a detailed description of your project and good quality photos, and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE WORK WITH YOU?

It’s easy!

  1. Get an estimate from us - either in person or via email.

  2. Choose your material - during your in-person estimate, through email, or come into the shop and look through our material samples and catalogs. The best way to choose materials is to look at them in person, but we can work with you on this.

  3. After your estimate is done and materials are chosen, we can schedule work to be done. At the time of scheduling, you’ll need to leave a materials retainer (aka a deposit). This retainer is so we can get your materials on order and shipped to us in time to start work on your project. You’ll pay the remaining balance at the time of project completion.

DO YOU WORK WITH INSURANCE COMPANIES?

We do not work directly with insurance companies, at the moment.

You’re welcome to submit a claim to the insurance company with the estimate we provide you, then bring your project in after you receive payment from the insurance company.

WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE/CAN YOU PROVIDE?

We have over 15+ local and regional vendors that we source our materials from. There’s a wide variety of materials we can offer, and we are always willing to search for any material you want used for your project. We also offer a good variety of samples you can look at in person at our shop.

  • Carpet: cut pile, loop pile, velour, square weave, and more.

DO YOU WORK ON NEW CARS?

Absolutely! We offer full service auto upholstery on new cars, such as:

  • Large or minor repairs on factory upholstery

  • Full custom interiors

  • Seat cover installs

  • Leather kit installs

  • Seat heater installs

  • Spare tire covers

  • Carpet installs or repairs

  • Convertible tops (repairs or new installs)

CAN I LEAVE MY CAR OVERNIGHT?

We do not have a key drop - so we cannot have people drop their cars off overnight. When you bring your car in on at the time of your scheduled appointment, it will be stored inside our shop for the entirety of the project. We’ll always work with you to find a time that works with your schedule to drop off your car or project.

Since we are a single bay shop, we do ask that you pick up your vehicle within 24 hours of being told your project is completed. If you don’t pick your car up within 24 hours, we may need to leave it out overnight. We charge a storage fee for your vehicle if you do not pick it up within 48 hours of the project completion.

WHAT KIND OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Our preferred method of payment is cash.

We also accept debit & credit card payments, but unfortunately we have to charge a 3% processing fee on all card transactions. If you do pay with a card, you can pay in person or we can email your invoice to you and you can pay online before you pick up.

We do not accept mobile payments such as Venmo, Cash App, Paypal, etc.
